Alex Grogan has worked in Civil Construction for over 17 years with a great passion for efficient, cost effective and quality construction.

It was during his time working in Civil Construction at the Gorgon Project on Barrow Island that began to notice a fundamental problem with use of Traditional Precast Units; plain and simple, they were too costly and took too long to install.

Instead of standing around waiting for cranes, Alex decided to push the envelope and dedicated himself and his time designing a new and better way to trenching which could actually save time and money.

Alex worked with and consulted both Engineers and Construction Managers on-site in order to design and engineer a quality and tested trenching and retaining solution suitable for construction site conditions in the harsh Australian climate.

Only a few years later, Trenchform L Block Trenching and Retaining units are now being manufactured in Victoria, Australia.
